Encavis AG partners with Innovar Solar GmbH to develop 500 MW of solar capacity in Germany, supporting the nation's renewable energy goals with continuous project advancement.
Encavis AG has joined forces with Innovar Solar GmbH to develop 500 MW of solar energy capacity in Germany, marking a significant milestone in the country’s renewable energy efforts. The partnership adopts a dynamic development approach, allowing multiple projects to be initiated simultaneously, ensuring that the 500 MW goal is consistently pursued.
Continuous Development Strategy for Solar Capacity
The collaboration between Encavis AG and Innovar Solar GmbH focuses on maintaining a continuous flow of projects. As existing solar projects reach advanced stages, new ones will be initiated to ensure a steady progression toward the target capacity of 500 MW. If any projects fail to reach the ready-to-build (RTB) stage within a defined timeframe, the agreement allows for swift adjustments, replacing underperforming projects with new ones to keep the overall development on track.
Recent Expansion in Europe
Earlier this year, Encavis AG bolstered its solar energy portfolio by acquiring a Spanish solar park from BayWa r.e. The Almodóvar Solar Park, a 95 MW project located near Córdoba, is currently under construction and is expected to generate an annual output of 187 GWh.
