Envision Energy and Juniper Green Energy Partner to To Supply 1 GW Wind Turbines And 320 MWh BESS

In a monumental stride for India's renewable energy sector, Envision Energy India has entered a strategic partnership with Juniper Green Energy (JGE) to supply cutting-edge wind turbines and energy storage systems. The collaboration involves the delivery of 200 EN 182|5MW wind turbine generators (WTGs) and Envision's first-ever 320 MWh battery energy storage systems (BESS). These initiatives are aimed at harnessing wind-rich regions across India, contributing significantly to the nation’s renewable energy goals.

Transforming Wind Energy with Advanced Technology

The EN 182|5MW wind turbines, equipped with an impressive 182-meter rotor diameter and a 140-meter hub height, are specifically designed to adapt to India’s unique wind conditions. Based on Envision's proven 5MW platform, these turbines deliver a 40% higher annual energy output compared to the 3.3MW model while offering the lowest levelized cost of energy (LCoE). Moreover, the platform’s design minimizes the need for multiple land parcels, addressing land acquisition challenges—a critical factor in the Indian renewable energy landscape.

Introducing High-Performance Energy Storage Systems

Envision’s innovative 320 MWh battery energy storage systems (BESS) represent a significant step in enhancing grid stability and renewable energy integration. Powered by advanced 315Ah lithium-ion cells and managed by an AIoT-based Energy Management System, the BESS solution ensures optimal performance and safety. With a 3.45 MW Power Conversion System (PCS) unit and comprehensive lifecycle operation and maintenance services, Envision's BESS is poised to set new benchmarks in energy storage technology in India.

Juniper Green Energy, under the leadership of CEO Naresh Mansukhani, views the collaboration as a critical milestone in its mission to build 10 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
