Greenzo Energy has announced a strategic partnership with RBM Infracon Limited to establish green hydrogen production facilities with a combined capacity of 15 MW across Jamnagar, Kutch, and Bhuj in Gujarat. The collaboration, backed by an INR 200 crore investment, will support India’s growing green energy transition and contribute to its clean energy goals.
Green Hydrogen Push in Gujarat: 15 MW Capacity
The project is set to commence in the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25 and will be executed in phases over 18 months. Greenzo Energy will oversee the design, engineering, procurement, and commissioning of the plants. Each facility will be equipped with the company’s in-house developed 5 MW alkaline electrolyzer units, along with separation, purification, and storage units.
Accelerating India's Transition to Green Hydrogen
Speaking about the project, Sandeep Agarwal, Founder and Managing Director of Greenzo Energy, stated, “This MoU with RBM Infracon aligns with our vision to accelerate India's transition from grey to green hydrogen. It will play a critical role in supporting key industries like refineries and fertilizers while contributing to the nation’s energy security and climate goals."
The project’s first phase will begin in Jamnagar, with subsequent phases planned in Kutch and Bhuj, driven by market demand. This initiative is expected to generate significant employment opportunities in the region, further strengthening India’s clean energy infrastructure.

Greenzo Energy’s electrolyzers, produced at its facility in Sanand, Gujarat, are tailored to withstand India’s climate and deliver hydrogen at 30 bar pressure. The company has recently secured major contracts, including projects with Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO), along with orders from Oman and Nepal, further cementing its position in the green hydrogen sector.
