JSW Renew Energy Seventeen Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has signed its first power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a 192 MW wind-solar hybrid project. This agreement marks a significant milestone for JSW Energy as it continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio.
192 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Project in Gujarat
The PPA, signed for a period of 25 years at a tariff of Rs 3.27 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), reflects JSW Energy's commitment to providing cost-effective, green energy solutions. The hybrid project will be connected to Gujarat's state transmission utility and is expected to be operational within 24 months. The blend of wind and solar technologies is a strategic move to ensure consistent and reliable energy production, leveraging the complementary nature of these renewable sources.

With this agreement, JSW Energy takes another step toward realizing its renewable energy ambitions. The company has a robust project pipeline of 8.3 gigawatts (GW), with power purchase agreements already in place for 3.2 GW.
