Sungrow Hydrogen, a global leader in green energy solutions, has signed a pivotal cooperation agreement with China Tianying Inc. for the development of the Tianying Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, and Green Methanol Project in Liaoyuan, Jilin.


This landmark initiative not only underscores Sungrow's technological prowess but also represents a significant stride towards establishing a sustainable energy ecosystem in Jilin Province, a region rich in solar and wind resources.


A Game-Changing Project in Green Energy Production

State-of-the-Art Hydrogen Production Technology

Sungrow Hydrogen will supply 16 sets of its 1000Nm³/h ALK hydrogen production systems for the project. These include advanced ALK electrolyzers, PWM hydrogen production power supplies, gas-liquid separation systems, and hydrogen purification equipment.


Massive Renewable Power Capacity

The project integrates wind and solar power generation with energy storage and consumption, featuring a planned installed capacity of 2.6 GW. Once operational, it is expected to produce:


  • 150,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually

  • 800,000 tonnes of green methanol annually


Jilin: A Hub for Green Hydrogen Innovation

This marks the third project Sungrow Hydrogen has undertaken in Jilin Province, following the successful delivery of:


  • Baicheng Distributed Power Generation Hydrogen Production and Hydrogenation Integrated Demonstration Project (2021)

  • Da’an Wind-Solar Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Integrated Demonstration Project (2023)


Jilin’s abundant renewable resources and Sungrow Hydrogen’s cutting-edge technology are driving the province's emergence as a key player in green hydrogen production.
